Family & Small Group Visits

What is it?

Looking for a family friendly activity that offers 60 - 90 minutes of outdoor nature therapy? Make an appointment and visit us at Cheyne Ranch! We will introduce you to our 9 horses, bunnies, and chickens, goats, pig, and cow! We will learn about the animals, see them up close, have an opportunity to pet them, groom a horse or 2 and take a few horses for a walk. We end our time together with a short hand-led pony or horse ride around the property (ages 24 months+).

  • Or - you may text me at (407) 680-3348 to coordinate a time. In general, the following times are when we schedule family visits (depends on weather, daylight hours, staffing and other scheduling considerations)

    • Thursday AM

    • Friday AM

    • Friday PM

    • Saturday AM

    • AM options when school is out (Labor Day, etc)

What is the price?

• $50 for the first 2 kids, $10 for each additional kid

• Parents, Adults & Seniors (such as grandparents) are always free!

Who else will be with us?

• Sessions are all private, your family or group only, maximum of 8 people please.

Are there age / weight limits?

• To ride a pony or horse, the maximum age is 21 and the maximum weight is 180 pounds

• It is not recommended children 24 months and younger wear an equestrian safety helmet, therefore we do not allow children 24 months and younger to "ride” a horse. They may be seated on the saddled horse for a quick photo (which is all they usually tolerate)

Returning Guests:

• Already visited before? We love our return guests! We get to spend more time with the bunnies, goats and chickens, and whatever other barn stuff you want to do!
